Chalice is a deep and aromatic dessert wine exhibiting lush flavours of hazelnut, caramel, molasses, and sweet butterscotch. On the palate, the texture is viscous and rich although the wine is not cloyingly sweet. Vinified in used oak barrels and baked in the sun for six partially oxidize the wine, giving it a sweet tawny texture and a high alcohol content.
