Vineyard Notes
100% Merlot grown organically at Esther Vineyard
(Kaleden, BC). 2019 was a mild growing season in the
Okanagan Valley, yielding red wines of balance and
freshness.
Winemaker Notes
The wine fermented in a 10,000L oak foudre.
Afterwards, it was racked into neutral French oak
barrels where it rested for twelve months. Winemaker
Michael Alexander then selected three choice barrels to
set aside and age for an additional twelve months before
bottling. Unfined, unfiltered and released exclusively to
our Organic Wine Club members!
