2021 Baco Noir
Heritage Series Organic Baco Noir

Baco Noir was planted throughout the Okanagan Valley in the 1970s for its hardiness and disease resistance. Most was pulled out in the late 80's to make way for the classic European varieties, but our neighbor Elmer Eidse kept his. Now these old vines are managed organically to create this delicous wine that is a living history of the British Columbia wine industry.
The 2021 vintage is sure to please die-hard fans and new-comers alike.Sultry aromas of black fruit and leather are followed by flavours of spiced, cooked cherry and fleshy plum with a whisper of tobacco on the finish. Rich and velvety on the palate with a pop of mouthwatering acidity and subtle, soft tannins.
Suggested pairings include grilled meats, Italian-style dishes, hamburgers, or with a good book next to a cozy fireplace!
