Tasting Notes:

This complex icewine offers pronounced notes of dried strawberry, rhubarb, stonefruit, and marmalade with refreshing acidity and long-lasting finish. The high alcohol balances the natural sweetness. Truly exceptional.

Vineyard Notes:

Harvested and pressed on December 13-15, 2016 with 42% sugars at pressing. Primarily grown at the Cathpair Vineyard in pristine Northern Kelowna, Okanagan Valley.

Winemaker Notes:

Grapes were pressed frozen to yield small amounts of rich, sweet juice. The wine fermented slowly and stopped naturally with a high degree of residual sweetness.

Enjoy this wine chilled with a platter of fruit and chocolate, or aged blue cheeses.
