Our estate-grown Riesling delivers exceptional purity of fruit year after year. The 2022 vintage is just off-dry with vibrant notes of fresh pear, apple, ginger and sweet citrus blossom. Zippy acidity and stony minerality balance the natural sweetness, leading to a long, clean finish.
Vineyard Notes:
2022 was a moderate growing season in the Okanagan Valley. Grapes were harvested from estate-grown Riesling clone 21 vines planted in 1978.
Winemaker Notes:
Fruit was hand harvested and destemmed before pressing. Based on Biodynamic principles, this wine was naturally fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel with the ambient farm yeasts, truly reflecting the vintage and terroir of the Demeter certified Summerhill Vineyard in 2022.
