Tasting Notes
Not as fruity as its 2019 older brother, the 2020 vintage still has lovely notes of cassis, red fruits, black cherry, graphite and black pepper with a hint of red licorice. Slightly more tannins in this younger wine, so pair it with a nice steak or any meat on the grill! We recommend some aeration and although great to savour now, it will be even better after 3 or 4 years in the cellar.
Winemaker Notes
Naturally fermented in oak foudre, then aged 14 months in 1/3 new oak barriques, and 2/3 neutral oak barrique.
Food Pairing Notes
Enjoy with grass fed beef, rabbit cacciatore or hard cheeses.
