Nose. Muted cassis, nuttyness, Reduction blows off somewhat.
Palate. Similar to nose, more red fruit cherry like, some dark berries.

Tasting Notes:

A little shy to start, with a muted nose of cassis and nuts, but give it time and a little swirl in your glass and it will reveal itself. Bold and bright with complex notes of cherries and dark berries and full tannins that make it perfect with a nice juicy steak.

Winemaker Notes:

Blend. 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 66% Cabernet Franc
Aging. The Cab Franc was barrel aged 28 Months in Neutral Oak, While the Cab Sauv was aged in a large Oak Tank 27 months (in the 10 000 L oak tanks).
Bottling Date. 12th January, 2018

Pairs beautifully with grass fed steak, anything from the grill or hard cheeses.
