Stunning views of vineyard, lake and mountains surround you in exquisite splendor, seemingly taking you to another world and allowing you to escape the hectic city without even leaving town.

Executive Chef Jesse Croy has been cooking throughout the Okanagan Valley for over thirteen years. He has spent the last few years here at Summerhill, where he has earned the Sunset Bistro top honours in the annual Taste of Kelowna Competition by being Judges #1 Choice 3 years running! Chef Croy has coordinated a network of local farmers and growers to build his menus, showcasing Canada's finest wild and organic products, including Summerhill's own organic produce and herbs grown right on site.

 

An organic vegetable garden has been planted by Summerhill for the Sunset Bistro's exclusive use. Croy incorporates the sweet flavours of fresh produce with many of Summerhill's wines to create an endless variety of specialty dishes ranging from flavours delicately simple to robust and full. Maintained by Ari Cipes, the garden yields 40 different heirloom varieties of tomoatoes, grown from open-pollinated seed, as well as eggplant, basil, squash, green beans, onions, carrots, and herbs. The garden is maintained in a Permaculture style, using no petroleum inputs, tractors, or rototillers, and fertilized with homemade compost and compost teas.

 

The Wineshop is never closed! Off-sales are available during dinner service at wine shop prices.
