Sharmian started her career in the medical industry but her passion for wine brought her into the wine industry. She graduated from UC Davis in the Winemaking and Viticulture program and after many years at various Okanagan wineries, she landed here at Summerhill. As a self- described wine nerd, Sharmian has also accumulated many other wines certifications: WSET 3 in Wines, French Wine Scholar, Italian Wine Scholar, Spanish Wine Scholar, Canadian Wine Scholar, and she is presently enrolled in the Bourgogne Master Level Course. Sharmian also volunteers on the Board of the Okanagan branch of La Chaine des Rotisseurs. This is a group of dedicated individuals passionate about promoting the art of fine dining and culinary excellence in the region.
