2013 Ehrenfelzer is the best wine ever. I typically do not like white wine but love this one.

A surprising flavour! There are few whites that get my attention, but this is by far one of the best!

This is my absolute favorite wine ever! I discovered it a number of years ago when travelling in the Kelowna area and have since been a loyal fan while also getting many of my friends and family 'hooked' as well!

I was very glad to see a winery appreciate this wonderful grape. I have had Ehrenfelsener grown in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region from Germany and from smaller wineries inSaxony-Anhalt, they generally manage to produce rich but also dry wines of this grape that bring out the character well. Unfortunately the bottles of the 2015 Summerhill ( available in BC at Save-on) impress with an overpowering sweetness that would be beyond what one would tolerate for a Späetlese, more like a desert wine. The core of the wine is flavorful and rich but utterly destroyed by either to much sugar. I had been hoping for better but alas...

I first tried this wine in the fall of 2015 at the wine festival at the laurel packing house. Since then I would define this as my favorite white wine by far!!!!

Just opened a bottle of your Ehrenfelser 2006 which I bought in Manitoba on a whim having never tasted the grape before. I am a great fan of German wines particularly the great Mosel and Saar rieslings. This was utterly delicious and beguiling, still full of ripe tropical fruit flavours and a wonderful nose. Somewhat sweeter than the stated “1”level I was expecting but winderfully balanced by acidity. Mellow but but still refreshing for an 11 yr old white wine. I have become an instant fan but couldnt find anither bottle in Manitoba. So I’ll have to join your club Cong
