2007 Organic Zweigelt

Still quite fruity for this older vintage around notes of blue and red berries with some tomato vine aromas reminiscent of a Cabernet Franc. Lovely silky soft tannins and high acidity giving it some body with a clean finish, making this a wine that has aged exceptional well.

2008 Organic Zweigelt

With more tannins and structure than it’s 2007 older brother, the 2008 vintage is a little less fruity with aromas around dried floral notes which complement a very mild oxidation, enhancing the natural warm spicy notes of this wine.

2009 Organic Zweigelt

Old Age has given it a lovely light brick color, silky smooth tannins and a pleasant slight oxidation which enhances the characteristic notes of warm spices of this wine. The palate delights with notes of wild strawberries and a long clean finish around roasted chestnuts.

Each of these wines are easy to drink and pair exceptionably well with a roasted chicken or a North African chicken couscous!
